Age (in August 2020)
I can honestly say that Tough Mudder is going to be one of the scariest things I've ever done. I'm not particularly fit and my upper body strength is virtually non-existent but I'm determined not to skip any obstacles so I'm definitely going to have to spend some time at the gym before the event! It'd also be quite nice if I could at least jog my way around the course instead of just walking (I think running would be a bit of an unrealistic target!) so I think I'm going to give the "Couch to 5K" thing a go in the New Year as well.
Despite it being totally out of my comfort zone, participating in Tough Mudder is really important to me; two of the items on my bucket list are "take part in an endurance event" and "raise £1000 for charity" and I'm really hoping that this will enable me to cross them both off! The charity we're raising money for - Andy's Man Club - also means a lot to me as it's helped a few people I know, and could have potentially saved the life of a friend I lost to suicide several years ago if it had been around back then.
